Concrit Rules
- Concrit Optional
If your art is left untagged, BLUE is the default setting. This icon means that an artist neither actively encourages nor actively discourages constructive/negative criticism. If a piece is tagged with the blue icon, other members may crit if they wish but it is not what the artist is particularly looking for. However, please do not be upset if using this icon garners you some harsh comments - you use the blue icon to express your indifference at your own risk.

TO USE: In HTML mode, copy and paste *img src="http://i44.tinypic.com/21o4lc3.jpg"* into the concrit section of your header [ replace *'s with < and >'s ].

- Concrit Discouraged
Posters that use the GREEN icon are actively discouraging criticism of any kind. If you feel sensitive over your work, are no longer looking to improve upon it, or simply just don't feel that you want to deal with the possibility of negative criticism, make sure to use this tag.

TO USE: In HTML mode, copy and paste *img src="http://i40.tinypic.com/24o1211.jpg"* into the concrit section of your header [ replace *'s with < and >'s ].

- Concrit Encouraged
The YELLOW icon is used for artists that are actively seeking constructive criticism. Simple comments such as "I really love this!" are not disallowed but generally discouraged as they do not contain any constructive feedback. Other members that come across works marked with the yellow icon are encouraged to tell the artist honestly how they feel about the piece, point out any flaws they might find, and discuss what just doesn't work.

TO USE: In HTML mode, copy and paste *img src="http://i39.tinypic.com/2uffvq9.jpg"* into the concrit section of your header [ replace *'s with < and >'s ].

- Vicious Concrit Encouraged
RED icons are for the brave of heart. Posters using this icon are actively seeking vicious constructive criticism. It is understood that, if an artist uses this to tag his/her work, no matter what anyone says the artist will not be offended. Members are encouraged to be brutally honest and nit-picky about any work posted with the red icon, though please keep in mind two things: one, that sometimes honest concrit really can be positive!, and two: that there is a difference between being brutal and just being an ass [ ie: "Your work looks sloppy and unfinished" versus "Your work sucks and I hate you" ]. Don't be an ass.
